Nintendo Wins the Circuit Layout Game: Nintendo Co Ltd v Centronics Systems Pty Ltd

In this article the author examines the decision of Nintendo Co. Ltd. v. Centronics Systems Pty. Ltd. His conclusion is that the High Court has adopted a liberal interpretation of the Circuit Layouts Act and that there may be force for a sui generis scheme to govern the protection intellectual property rights in computer technology.
