Volume 11 Issue 1Electronic Commerce Law in MalaysiaP.S. SANGAL*Abstract Electronic commerce law in Malaysia is examined here in the light of the Multimedia Super Corridor Project and the objectives of government policy. Six so-called cyber laws are examined here in relation to their impact on electronic transactions. The laws include the Copyright (Amendment) Act 1997, the Computer Crimes Act 1997, Telemedicine Act, 1997, Digital Signatures Act 1997, Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and the Communications and Multimedia Commission Act 1998.
